WIDOCRYL-Detail

WIDOCRYL-Detail is a liquid plastic waterproofing system designed for use on flat roofs and similar structures. It is specifically used for creating upstands and detailing, and for forming joint laminates (as an alternative to WIDOPAN-FD). It can also be seamlessly integrated with bitumen or synthetic roofing membranes.

The product is based on urethane-modified methyl methacrylate resin (PMMA), which is slightly thixotropic to ensure optimal application for detailing.

For joint laminates, the system uses the G 165 polyester reinforcement fleece. This fleece determines the tensile strength and elongation at break of the waterproofing layer, ensuring a uniform thickness. The reinforcement is cut and adapted on-site to match the specific structural conditions. This creates a homogeneous, crack-bridging, and permanently elastic waterproofing layer.

Approved Applications

WIDOCRYL-Detail holds an official approval (abP – Allgemeines bauaufsichtliches Prüfzeugnis) for waterproofing of subterranean structures against pressurised water and for transitions to water-impermeable structures.

Furthermore, it can be used for structural waterproofing on surfaces with a pitch of up to 90°. This makes it an ideal solution for the reliable waterproofing of external basement walls and foundations.
